Mind The Gap started as a denture clinic and that has not changed. Every denture is built in our Helensvale lab by a registered dental prosthetist. Nothing offshore, nothing interstate, and if something needs adjusting you speak to the person who made it.
If getting to Helensvale is hard, whether that is mobility, transport or an aged care facility, we come to you for the whole process, first impression to final fit. We travel roughly thirty five minutes from Helensvale, and further for a big enough group by arrangement.

Nothing starts until you say so. Health fund claimable on the spot through HICAPS, same as a dental practice.
Follow-up adjustments after a fit are expected, not a sign something went wrong. Because the lab is metres from the chair, an adjustment happens while you wait rather than next fortnight.

Do I need a referral to see a dental prosthetist?
No. A dental prosthetist is registered to work directly with patients on dentures, so you can book straight in.
How much do dentures cost?
We quote in person, because the work depends on what is already there. You get a written, itemised quote before anything is made, and nothing starts until you agree to it.
How fast are repairs?
Most are done the same day. The lab is on site, so a cracked plate in the morning is usually back in your mouth by the afternoon. Bring it in before you try to glue it.
Do you come to us?
Yes. We visit homes and aged care across the Gold Coast for the whole process, first impression to final fit, roughly thirty five minutes from Helensvale and further by arrangement.
Can I claim dentures on my health fund?
Yes, through HICAPS on the spot, the same as a dental practice.
Is the work sent to an outside laboratory?
No. Every appliance is made in our own Helensvale lab, which is why adjustments happen while you wait rather than next fortnight.
