The practice
Helensvale Square, Gold CoastMind The Gap started as a denture clinic and that has not changed. What sits behind the chair is a working laboratory, which is the whole reason the practice runs the way it does.
Most denture work in Australia is taken by a clinic, boxed up and couriered to a commercial lab, sometimes offshore. Every adjustment is another round trip. Ours is metres away, so a repair is usually same day and a fit that is a fraction out gets corrected while you are still in the chair.
The mouthguard side grew out of the same bench. Same materials, same hands, and the reason we can take a whole squad on a Saturday and have the guards back inside a week.
Who you will meet
A small team. You see the same faces every visit.
Registered dental prosthetists. The person who takes your impression is the person who builds the appliance and the person who adjusts it afterwards. There is no third party in the middle and nothing leaves the building.

Rugby league and union, Australian rules, boxing and Muay Thai gyms, and school sport periods at Coomera Anglican College, across the northern Gold Coast.
